What Is CBD Oil?
The Hemp plant is a strain of cannabis sativa species, not the same as the marijuana plant, but in the same family. The hemp plant contains a high level of cannabidiol (CBD). Hemp CBD is not psychoactive and will not get you high.
Hemp CBD oil is very different from hemp seed oil. The so called snake oil salesmen out there in the marketplace selling hemp seed oil that contains no CBD are to be avoided.
Hemp CBD is found in three different forms: Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, and Isolate. If a product says full spectrum, it will include a barely detectable amount of THC (less than 0.03%) which, if taken internally, could cause you to fail a drug test, but if used topically will not, as topical use never enters the bloodstream.
